ABOUT ME

Purchasing property in Arizona – whether for personal use or as an investment – is, at its core, a significant financial commitment. Buyers often save for years to accumulate a down payment and subsequently invest a substantial portion of their family income in monthly mortgage payments, taxes, and insurance. For many families, a home is their largest investment.

Over the years, while helping clients invest in Arizona properties (I am currently a real estate broker, working with investors and regular buyers/sellers in both commercial and residential markets in Arizona), I recognized that my service was incomplete because I lacked in-depth knowledge of the mortgage (or finance) side of transactions. To better advise my clients on their strategies & long-term plans, I sought to learn the fundamentals of mortgages by reaching out to loan officers. Unfortunately, I never received a satisfactory explanation or the support I needed.

As the saying goes, “Knowledge is not given; it is earned.”

Motivated by this gap, I decided to become a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer (my NMLS ID #2337148).  My license allows me to offer multiple loan products and programs to consumers in the State of Arizona.

I am currently a licensed Loan Officer with AML Funding LLC, dba Absolute Mortgage & Lending, a mortgage banker/direct lender based in Dallas, TX (NMLS ID #1910591)[1]

I believe that by understanding both sides of the coin – real estate and mortgage finance – I can better assess my clients’ financial situations and offer a more tailored and holistic approach to their investment strategies.

Why this website?

This website was created to share my expertise and experience in the mortgage industry with potential borrowers, particularly with first-time homebuyers and real estate investors. Its primary goal is to equip users with fundamental knowledge before they engage with a mortgage or real estate professional, helping to answer critical questions that might otherwise go unaddressed.

The residential mortgage industry is constantly evolving, with new guidelines and products emerging at both federal and private levels. To keep pace with these changes, this platform not only compiles essential lending guidelines but also provides up-to-date information on new mortgage programs and financial products, ensuring users have the latest insights to make informed decisions.
